Jenee Ciccarelli, PC
After graduating from law school, Ms. Ciccarelli clerked for the Honorable Bradley J. Ferencz, Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County (Ret.). She was able to understand at a granular level the inner workings of the court system and how it interacted with the legal profession.
Ms. Ciccarelli then worked as a foreclosure attorney at one of the leading foreclosure firms in New Jersey. There she represented banks in residential and commercial foreclosures. This experience gave her an intimate knowledge of the foreclosure process and the defenses to foreclosure faced by banks.
Ms. Ciccarelli understands the struggles that her clients face when they are threatened with foreclosure. She brings that understanding with her when she represents homeowners in foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings. By representing homeowners of all ages and socio-economic means, Ms. Ciccarelli is able to work with clients to address not just the foreclosure itself, but the financial complications that gave rise to the foreclosure. Her holistic approach and comprehensive skill set addresses not only the immediate need of her clients to defend a foreclosure action, but also helps them rebuild their finances for the future.
During her 11 years litigating and restructuring debt issues, Jenee has represented been involved in over 2,000 cases which required her to analyze the homeowner’s (1) mortgage documents, (2) income, and (3) debts to create a combination of “litigation and loss mitigation strategy” to optimize the homeowner’s likelihood of home retention and their successful restructuring of debt. Where necessary, Ms. Ciccarelli has tried foreclosure cases before the Court with great success. Where required, Ms. Ciccarelli has successfully navigated clients through the bankruptcy process.
